Draft Guidance Documents Available for Comment

Draft versions of the Vegetated Buffer Guidance, Preservation Guidance, and Difficult to Replace Aquatic Resources Guidance were released in September 2004 and discussed at the Fourth Stakeholder Forum. The draft Guidance documents are currently under revision, a process that includes consideration and incorporation of stakeholder comments received at the Forum. Finalization of the guidance documents is pending the outcome of the Mitigation Rulemaking called for in the 2004 National Defense Authorization Act.
